  Service Suite - Overview
           - A brief description of the modules in Service Suite.

Service Suite consists of a number of modules which each contains different functions.

On this page you will find a brief description of each module.

 Customers.

The customer module is the module in which you maintain your customers. As with all other data in Service Suite the customers can be easily imported and exported, from and to your existing ERP-system.

In the customer module you can easily search in your customers in a simple and intuitive way, which provides you with an easy search feature and the possibility to build very complex search expressions.

If you need to print labels or define your own reports, of your customers this can also be done in Service Suite.

 The Inventory.

The purpose of the Inventory is to administer your products. An easy integration with your ERP-system ensures that you, in a matter of minutes, can transfer all your products from your ERP-system to Service Suite.

The Inventory is the module that a number of the following modules are based on. This module provides you with an easy way to search in your products, print labels with or without bar codes, as well as the opportunity to define your own reports of your products.

In some cases the Inventory is used to transfer products from one ERP-system to another, because of the very flexible import and export functionality that Service Suite contains.

 Price books.

If you need to maintain and administer price books, this module is just what you need.

In this module you can create and maintain as many price books as you need. Service Suite makes it very easy to add new products to any given price book, either by adding the product(s) manually or by using a barcode reader.

All products, which are contained in any given price book, automatically obtains the specific product data from the product in the inventory, which ensures that the data of the product always is consistent with the actual information's of the product.

You can print your price books, by using the reports already contained in Service Suite, or you can define your own reports of your price books.

 Stock count.

This module provides you with the functionality to easily and efficiently count and control your inventory.

It is very easy to make a stock count with Service Suite. You can add products to your stock count manually, but in most cases the possibilities Service Suite provides for integrating with barcode readers are utilized.

Service Suite can easily be configured to allow you to create a stock count using a barcode reader. You can count your stock using a barcode reader, and then import the data from the barcode reader into Service Suite. When this is done you can, if you wish, export the stock count from Service Suite and import it into your ERP-system.

The stock count module also contains a number of alternative functions. If you have made a stock count, you can e.g. get Service Suite to print labels in such a way, that if you have registered 2 pcs. of a product and 18 pcs. of another product, then you can print a report that prints 2 labels of the first product and 18 labels of the second product, and so forth.

 Purchase orders.

If you frequently purchase products from your suppliers, then both you and your suppliers can benefit by exploiting the purchase orders in Service Suite.

This module provides you with a way to easily create new purchase orders to your suppliers, and send those purchase orders to your suppliers electronically. Your suppliers will then receive your purchase orders in precisely the way and format that the supplier wishes to receive purchase orders in. This gives your suppliers the opportunity to automate the process of receiving purchase orders. Your supplier will also be enabled to provide you with updated prices and product catalogues which automatically will be updated in your installation of Service Suite.

If you and your suppliers use Service Suite, you no longer need to fax your purchase orders or wait for the phone to be picked up, to place your order. On the contrary you can experience the joy of automatically receiving price adjustments from your supplier, as soon as your supplier makes any changes to the product catalog.

 Suppliers.

In the supplier module you can obtain information's about and administer your suppliers.

In this module you can view relevant contact information's about your suppliers and enter you own comments about you suppliers. The inventory of your suppliers is also available in this module, which makes it possible to view and search in your suppliers inventory.

As with all the other modules in Service Suite, you can also print and export your suppliers' inventory.

 e-Commerce.

Suppliers who wish to receive purchase orders from customers in an automated, structured and efficient manner are the primary users of the e-Commerce module in Service Suite.

When prices in the suppliers inventory are adjusted, or new products are added, those changes can be automatically shipped to all those customers who are using Service Suite.

The customers then use the suppliers inventory in Service Suite to create and send purchase orders to the supplier electronically. The e-Commerce module allows the supplier to specify how and in which format the supplier whishes to receive purchase orders.

A supplier who uses Service Suite to trade with customers can thus receive and process purchase orders automatically, which eliminates costly and tedious processes of manually purchase order processing.

 Web shop.

The web shop in Service Suite is based on the products in the e-Commerce module. The web shop module is a complete and powerful web shop manager in which you can build, administer and otherwise maintain your web shop.

A vast range of functions combined with an easy and efficient integration to your ERP system, makes the web shop module in Service Suite the perfect choice for businesses whishing to sell their products on-line.

 Planning.

The primary purpose of the planning module in Service Suite is to administer your employees' service appointments.

Besides the normal types of appointments (meetings, time off etc.), customer appointments can be administered. The advantage of the customer appointments is that several employees, products and task categories can be attached to this, thus ensuring an easy and efficient handling of your service appointments from start to finish.

The planning module in Service Suite also contains a mobile solution, that allows employees to view their appointments directly on their mobile phone or PDA. This empowers your employees to be able to actively use Service Suite whereever they might be. Imagine the impact this could have on your business.

 Sales orders.

This module contains numerous functions for creating and administering your sales orders.

The sales order module in Service Suite is effectively integrated with the planning module, in such a way that customer appointments easily can be created from a sales order and sales orders easily can be created from customer appointments.

By using the sales order and planning module in Service Suite you can administer you employees service appointments and easily convert those to sales orders in very few seconds.

 Import and export of data.

All modules in Service Suite provide an easy and efficient way in which to import and export data.

For each module the user can create numerous formats for exchange of data, using Service Suite's unique and intuitive user interface for creating and administering data exchange formats.

Service Suite provides you with the flexibility of customizing both import and export formats, in order to obtain the best possible integration with your existing ERP systems.

Besides these unique features Service Suite integrates natively with several ERP systems.

 Reports.

Numerous reports are included in Service Suite, quite a few of those contains bar codes.

The most interesting aspect of the report engine included in Service Suite is that you can create and adjust your own customized reports. The creation of customized reports in Service Suite is, unlike most normal report designers, very easy and intuitive. No knowledge of the database and its internal structures is required.

 Settings and automation.

Service Suite contains a vast number of settings, which ensures optimal utilization of the included functions and modules.

Besides this Service Suite can be configured to automate several tasks, such as importing updates to the inventory or customer ledgers, or automatically distribute updates to a suppliers eCommerce catalog.

All of these settings and automation possibilities are described in the modules to which each of those applies.

 New versions of Service Suite?

The functionality of Service Suite is constantly being improved and expanded with new modules.
