Service Suite - Customers
- An introduction to the customer module.
The Customer module in Service Suite is used for maintaining your customers.
The screen is divided in a few sections and looks like this:

As the above illustration shows, the customer module consists of 5 general sections.
From the menu general functions such as: "Prices and discounts", "Print", "Import customers", "Export customers" and "Delete customers" can be selected.
Functions specific to a customer.
In the icon bar, which contains customer specific functions, you can select functions that only affect selected customers. The functions which can be selected is: "New customer", "Edit customer", "Print", "Prices and discounts", "Hide/Show Details", "Delete customer" and "Export customers", these functions are illustrated as shown here:

The blue arrow is not a function in itself, but indicates that there are more functions available than can be displayed on the screen. When this arrow is pressed the icon-bar will move to the left, and reveal more functions.
The Search Bar.
The search bar gives you the opportunity to search in your customers. By default all the customers contained in Service Suite will be displayed.

In this way Service Suite makes it easy to build advanced search expressions. If you e.g. wish to find all your customers in the customer group "A1" with the zip code "2800", this can easily be done by filling out the search bar as shown below:

You can add as many criteria's as you wish, and by pressing the button: "Search" the result will be displayed in the list below.
The list of customers.
The results of your search will be displayed in this section. If you have entered a search expression only the customers who matches the expression will be displayed in the list.

In this list it is possible to select one, or more, customers by selecting the checkbox in the left column. When customers are selected it is possible to use the functions from the icon bar to print, export or delete the selected customers. You can also sort the customers by clicking on the column headers.
Details.
The last section is the details. This section displays the registered data for the customer currently selected in the list:

In the details section you can use the tabs in order to view e.g. employees. Which tabs are shown depends on which modules in Service Suite your licenses apply to.
